PM Narendra Modi launches Mobile Apps for MyGov.in

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched mobile apps for MyGov.in at Delhi.  MyGov.in as it is known is a crowd sourcing platform which allows the Government to directly connect to citizens and vice versa. The platform (portal) allows people to contribute towards government decision making, policies and good governance and to participate in multiple theme-based discussions and share their ideas such as Clean Ganga, Girl Child Education, Clean India, Skilled India, Digital India, and Job Creation and so on.

The mobile apps have been designed by Kolkata-based Indus Net Technologiesan innovative IT Service, Managed Outsourcing & Internet Strategy Company with unique combination of creativity and technology.

“The current engagement will empower the citizens with the mobile app for MyGov, thus allowing people to act and participate on the move” according to Abhishek Rungta, Founder and CEO of Indus Net Technologies. He further adds that “the App would have Google Mobile Analytics code residing within the APIs so as to enable tracking of usage patterns and behavior of users, as well as for other analytics”.

“This project is a shining example of how a private enterprise under the overall guidance and umbrella of the Government can contribute towards better Governance”, said Manoj Tandon, Adviser.

For this project, the Indus Net team worked under the able guidance of National Informatics Centre to ensure a seamless MyGov mobile experience for users.

Indus Net Technologies bagged the assignment against a very strong and competitive bidding by very large players in the segment. Indus Net has been in the forefront of developing and delivery on time multiple Government projects such as the official website for the Ministry of Human Resource and Development, Ministry of Tourism, NIMHANS, among many others.
