The first two installments are some of the most popular animated films of this generation. A new trailer has arrived for Illumination Entertainment’s Despicable Me 3, the sequel bringing back Steve Carell as the dastardly but charming villain Gru.
The new trailer introduces audiences to Balthazar Bratt, a former child star who’s grown up to become obsessed with the character he played in the ’80s. Directed by Pierre Coffin and Kyle Balda, co-directed by Eric Guillon, and written by Cinco Paul & Ken Daurio, Despicable Me 3 will be released in theaters on June 30, 2017.
