The Smurfs 2 movie starring Neil Patrick Harris, Jayma Mays and Katy Perry, directed by Raja Gosnell. It is based on The Smurfs comic-book series created by the Belgian comics artist Peyo. It is the second installment of a projected trilogy, produced by Sony Pictures Animation and distributed by Columbia Pictures.
The Smurfs team up with their human friends to rescue Smurfette, who has been kidnapped by Gargamel since she knows a secret spell that can turn the evil sorcerer’s newest creation – creatures called the Naughties – into real Smurfs.
‘The Smurfs 2’ releases on 2 August 2013.
