Ice Age continental Drift in Tamil language
Ice Age 4 becomes the first animated movie to speak in Tamil. 15 screens in Tamil Nadu are screening the Ice Age 4 in Tamil.Generally only action movies and movies heavy on VFX are dubbed into Tamil.This Tamil version has done better than the Tamil version of The Dark Knight Rises (Batman 3 in Tamil) in tier 2 towns in TN like Madurai, Pollachi, Tirupur, Tenkasi, Thiruvannamalai etc. This has really surprised the trade and proves the growing market for Hollywood films and particularly animation films in the state. The growth of multiplexes and the increase in theaters equipped with 3D projection facilities have resulted in this boom.
