Ron Diamond’s “Think Oscar” masterclass
After the resounding success of ASIFA India’s earlier masterclasses, ASIFA India are proud to present to their next edition of the masterclass series. ASIFA India are excited to bring to Mumbai, Ron Diamond’s “Think Oscar” masterclass.
Often people wonder, “Why did certain films not get nominated?” or “What distinguished one film over another to make it to become the Oscar Winner?” And others wonder, “What are the voting procedures?,” “What qualifies a film?” and “What how does someone become an Academy member?”
Academy Executive Committee Branch Member Ron Diamond, presents a four hour Master Class that will entertain, inform, and challenge the viewing audience’s preconceptions as to the lesser- known facts about the film making world’s most sought after and respected honor, the Academy Award. ASIFA India invite you to be a part of this interesting and unique Master class.
The session would be in Mumbai on 1st of November 2012 at Whistling Woods School of Animation.
The timings of the masterclass are 10:00am – 2:00pm. The fees for the session is Rs. 500/- for students and Rs. 1,000/- for professionals.
