Online Animation Film Contest by Annecy
The Annecy International Animation Film Festival 2013 and Dailymotion are launching a new free online animation film contest entitled “+ de courts!”
Open to all creative artists, the contest allows animated film submissions of no more than five minutes long relating to the theme “Feet in the water, head in the movies.”
Short film entries must be posted online on the the Annecy Festival’s Dailymotion channel between December 20, 2012 and midnight March 31, 2013.

Take part in the contest:Make a short film of no longer than 5 minutes that is in perfect harmony with the topic "Feet in the lake, head in the movies" and contains the key words "International Animation film Festival Festival" and "Annecy 2013".

The short film should be posted online on the Dailymotion channel of the Annecy Festival from 20th December up to midnight 31st March 2013

Selection:
Internet users will have the opportunity to vote for the 10 finalists from 1st April to midnight 15th May 2013.
A jury, made up of animation professionals, will choose the 3 winners between 16th and 19th May 2013.

Prizes:
1st prize: a stay of 6 days and 6 nights during the International Animation Film Festival in Annecy, from 10th to 15th June 2013.

The prize includes:

  • A round trip by plane or train, from the airport/train station nearest to the winner's address to Annecy, equal to 1,000 €, a double room for six nights (worth 600 €) and transfers to and from Annecy;
  • A "Festival + Mifa" accreditation worth 535 €;
  • A Cristal trophy and a certificate presented at the Festival closing ceremony;
  • The screening of the film during the Festival;
  • A year's subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud.

2nd and 3rd prizes: two copies of software offered by Adobe (Photoshop Elements 11 and Adobe Premiere Elements 11), and a “Festival + Mifa” accreditation worth 535 €.
