Arena Animation Aligarh organizes “Octo CG art Gallery-2012”
Arena AnimationInstitute in City Aligarh organized an Interesting Art Gallery cum Competition on December 27th. Nearly 100 students from the Institute participated in the event and showed their skills on both 2D and 3D creations. The Event took place at the Institute Centre,LaxmiBarg, Marris Road Aligarh.
International Award Winning Artist Varun Mehta and Prahalad Agarwal graced the award function as Judges. The Competition became tough for the judges as the entries exhibited were outstanding. On a tough call, finally the decision was taken at the end of the show. Centre Director Mr Anurag Gupta announced the winners and they got awarded by Varun Mehta. In 3D category Mr.Minesh Sharma, Ms.Dhanak anjali Gupta and Ms.Sadia Nazir were chosen 1st, 2nd and 3rd. In 2D category Mr.Swaleh, Mr.Shubham Yadav and Mr.Suryansh Madnawat were chosen 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
In standout entry category Mr.Piyush Varshney, Mr.Geetesh Singh, Ms.SurbhiKhanna, Mohammad Amir Khan, Ambreen Fatima was chosen.
 
Varun said that he was actually in a fix whom to declare the winners as the quality of entries exhibited by the participants were nearly ‘awe-inspiring’. Mr PradeepAgrawalalongwith Mr Anurag Gupta with faculty Lokesh Kumar and Mr.UpendraNath motivated the students in an awe of a great competition engaging their talents in full swing. Mr Pradeep Gupta said that these competitions bring out the better in students and confidence too. He also suggested that these types of event and competitions should be engaged regularly in the city to bring out a new facet in Animation and Graphic Industry.
