Eega shortlisted for India's Oscar nomination
Ace director S.S. Rajamouli's graphic extravaganza Eega, which set new records in Tollywood and abroad in terms of collection, has been shortlisted for India's Oscar nomination. Eega is the only Telugu film in list of 18 films selected by the Film Federation of India for the consideration of India's Oscar entry.
India's nominations for the Oscars for the 'Best Foreign Language Film' will be selected during the screenings in Hyderabad from September 18 to 26 and the federation will select one film as India's nomination.
