MAAC in association with Indian Institute of Cartoonists successfully conducts the Valedictory function Bangalore, December 20th, 2012: Maya Academy of Advanced Cinematics (MAAC) - One of the leading Animation & Visual Effects (VFX) training institutes and Indian Institute of Cartoonists awarded Certificate of Participation to all the 30 finalist of the MAAC Intercollegiate Cartoon Competition held on Dec 1st at Presidency College Bangalore. The work of the 30 finalist were displayed at the Cartoon Gallery from Dec 4th to Dec 20th, the theme was on the Bangalore Garbage Menace. The Certificates were distributed by Mr. Shajan Samuel Sr.Vice President MAAC (India) and Mr. V.G. Narendra Managing trustee Indian Institute of Cartoonist.

The 30 finalist were shortlisted from 82 shortlisted candidates at the grand finale held on 1st December at Presidency College Bangalore.
Speaking on this occasion Mr. Shajan Samuel Sr. Vice President MAAC India said we are extremely happy on the level of skills on show at the Cartoon Competition, the amazing response from this cartoon competition augments the need for more such creative competitions, there is genuine talent in Bangalore but lack of appropriate Platforms to exhibit one’s talent, he also said that MAAC would seriously look at conducting the MAACartoon Competition as a Annual affair.
