POGO brings legendary comedian 'Charlie Chaplin' in Animation
A toothbrush moustache, cane stick and bowler hat when combined with impeccable comic timing can imply only one person in history - Charlie Chaplin. POGO is all set to reacquaint kids of Gen Y with the biggest comic hero of all time in an all new animated avatar in Chaplin & Co. starting July 7, 2012, every Saturday at 9am.Against all odds, Chaplin overcomes the trials and tribulations of daily life with humor, dignity and the spirit of adventure.The makers describe the universe that the animated character is set in as “vintage without age”. Audiences between the age of seven and 77, the series has been made in 3D animation. It is a co-production between India’s DQ Entertainment and France-based Method Animation. “Chaplin and Co. was developed in consultation with the Chaplin family, making the series truly representative of the world-famous screen icon,” says Desai.
