The “ROLLING FRAMES SHORT FILM SUMMIT” is being organized jointly by Bangalore Film Society, Vizag Film Society, Ganangad Entertainments and supported by Association of Bangalore Animation Industries (ABAI) during 9 – 10 March 2013 at NIMHANS Convention Centre, Bangalore. The objective of this unique event is to provide a single platform of interaction for Short Film Makers, Film Institute & Animation Institute Students/ Staff, Professionals from the Indian Film Industry, Animators, Film Equipment Traders, Short Film Making Service providers, Film Making enthusiasts, etc by organizing a Short Film Summit, which will have a Short Film Festival, Seminar, and Exhibition.

The Short Film Festival will accept short film submissions, up to 30 minutes in length. The festival will also accept animated or live-action short films and Only Selected Short Films would be screened during the event. The last date to submit the short films are on 1st of Feb 2013. Short Film Making Talent will also be recognized by giving Awards of Excellence, which will be selected by a panel of Judges from the Film Industry. Sponsored Awards will be given for – Best Film, Best Direction, Best Cinematography, Best Animation, Best Actor / Actress, Best Music Direction, Best Child Artist, Best Special Effects, Best Screenplay, and Best Editing. Expert professionals from the Film Industry would be delivering keynote lecturer on topics of direct relevance to Short Film Making/ Film Industry. The Exhibition at the Summit would showcase technology developments in the Film Industry, Animation Industry and Courses available in Animation/ Film Making.

Entry to the Exhibition is free of cost and is also open to the Public at a specific time from 2 – 6 PM. For delegates the Exhibition timings are from 9AM – 6PM The following industries/ professionals across India will be participating in the Summit: Film Industry: Film Institutes, Film Societies, Film Clubs, Music Composers, Directors, Cinematographers, Editors, Producers, etc Animation Industry: Animation Institutes, VFX Industry, etc
