Students to ‘Paint Happiness’ in the lives of orphan children

Maya Academyof Advanced Cinematics (MAAC) – leader in 3D Animation and VFXtraining with the support of its students’ community kick started itsfirst social campaign named ‘Paint Happiness’ today, April 22,2013. It’s a three day long activity where MAAC students from its variouscentres would paint and beautify the walls of 7 orphanages across Mumbai, Thaneand Navi Mumbai.

The prime objective of this noblecause is to bring smiles on the faces of the orphan kids,spread happiness and inculcate social values among students to initiate smallsteps towards their first socially responsible activity at this young age.Through this social cause, the students get an opportunity to showcase theircreativity in the form of paintings and create a better atmosphere for the notso privileged children. Various fun activities such as indoor games, watchingfavourite cartoon films, learning basic drawing skills and painting would beorganized for the children throughout the campaign. 

MAAC studentsfrom Thane, Mulund, Powai, Vashi, Dadar & Borivali, Andheri and Maladcentres will participate and paint walls of the selected orphanages like JananiAshish (Dombivali), Vatsalya Trust (Kanjurmarg), Balanand orphanage (Chembur),Girija Balgruha orphanage (Kharghar), Ashray (Bandra West), St.Catherine’s Home (Andheri West) and Thomas Shelter (Kandivali West)respectively.

Ms. Bhavika Chouhan, Sr. VP– Marketing said, “We wish to serve the society in our ownlittle way. Painting is a wonderful gesture to express one’s love and care.Through ‘Paint Happiness’ we intend to involve our students in thenoble cause and fill the hearts of orphan children with joy.”

At the commencement of theactivity, Mr. Ram Warrier, Business Head, MAAC said,” We believethe best way to make someone feel special is giving them your valuable time andsharing their joys and sorrows. We hope this brings a feeling of brotherhoodand binds the children and students with laughter and joy.”
