Comic enthusiasts enlightened by Gowra Hari’s creative skills at the Manga -Art workshop and the fun-filled Workshop on Cosplay organised by Comic Con India.

Comic enthusiasts were enlightened by Gowra Hari’s creative skills at the Manga -Art workshop on March 28 followed by a fun-filled Workshop on Cosplay on March 29 organised by Comic Con India
Bangalore,March 30th 2015’: After the super amazing events that took place last weekend, Comic Con India yet again organised two fun filled and educative workshops.One was the Manga art workshop with Gowra Hari at Extreme Sports Bar-Kamanahalli and the other one was the special workshop on Cosplay at Coffee on Canvas on 28th & 29th March respectively.
The Manga-art basically originated in Japan,the workshop on March 28th was about learning on how to draw and appreciate black and white Manga art. It also served as an introduction to Ka-Kaa: The Shaman Trials, the first Indian Manga graphic novel. Gowra Hari taught eager and enthusiastic audiences about the nitty gritty of manga art.
‘’To know and interact with so many manga art enthusiasts at the manga art workshop event conducted by Comic Con India is a surreal and fun experience. As the creator and artist of the first Indian manga Ka Kaa The Shaman Trials, we like to see more events like these’’, said Gowra Hari & Ananth Maruthi , creator of the series.
Similarly, there was a cosplay workshop organised by Comic Con India on March 29, Sunday , for the people who wished to experience cosplay for the first time, as well as understand on how and where to obtain costumes, props, wigs, and more, all with the guidance of several experienced cosplayers who had participated in previous Comic Con India events!
Nikhil,a student, who participated in Cosplay Workshop,said, “It was an awesome workshop,we got to learn how to make our costume and do make-up. All our questions were answered.It was pretty helpful.Looking forward to Bangalore Comic Con taking place this weekend."
The workshops were loved by the participating audiences. These were the last set set of workshops organised by Comic Con India as city gets ready for Bangalore Comic con 2015 to be held from 3rd-5th April 2015.
