Room 8 Studio’s social music game Piano City is the #1 Music game in 110 countries

Social Music Game Piano City, developed by Room 8 Studio and launched worldwide on 25th September onto the App Store, reached #1 rank in Music Games in 110 countries! Piano City is also the #1 Family game in 29 countries.

During the 5 days after official launch there were more than 2 million musical compositions played for almost 80,000 hours of game time - that’s equivalent to more than 9 years! The game was downloaded in 152 countries - Piano City reached #1 music game rank in 72% of them. This and some more entertaining statistics can be found in the infographic attached to the letter.

Piano City is the first social music game that lets players compete with their friends in musical challenges – talk about sharing rhythmic joy! Players are able to progress through the map up to the Grand Concert hall playing classical piano melodies and modern hits including songs by Lady Gaga, Maroon 5, Imagine Dragons and other famous performers to become the greatest musician of the Piano City. On the way to the top they will unlock new collectibles, unique content and complete diverse musical quests.
