Toon Boom Distributed by HeARTBIT in Japan

MONTREAL : Two-time Emmy award recipient, Toon Boom Animation Inc. has announced the signing of a distribution agreement with HeARTBIT Digital Creation, one of Japan's leading animation players, officializing the distribution of Toon Boom® Storyboard Pro™ and Harmony™ in Japan and their localization for the Japanese market. During the provincial trade mission led by The Honourable Jean-François Lisée, Minister of International Relations, La Francophonie and External Trade, Joan Vogelesang, Toon Boom's president and chief executive officer signed the distribution agreement with Hitoshi Kumagai, HeARBIT's chief executive officer.
"I am proud that our trade delegation to Japan is made up of representatives from companies and organizations at the forefront of their respective sectors such as Toon Boom. Their creativity and innovation in the field of animation technology illustrates just how Québec and Japan share a strong spirit for innovation," said Minister Jean-François Lisée.
"It is a great honor to bring our relationship with Toon Boom to the next level. To that end, we have increased our presence at the upcoming Japan Anime Fair to showcase Toon Boom technology to the local community," stated Mr. Hitoshi Kumagai, chief executive officer of HeARTBIT Digital Creation.
