"MadArt" A Solo Show by Madhura Raut

Mumbai, 7^th July, 2015: Madhura Raut, an artist, engineer and a very passionate person excited for her shiny career ahead in California. But before leaving her home country, India, she wants to hold an exhibition to showcase her paintings in her country. Like any passionate individual, her aim is NOT to make money out of it but to show them to people and get genuine appreciation for her works.  

This collection of works will be her first solo show at Andheri Sports Complex Art gallery and will feature her acrylic and ink paintings on canvas. The opening reception of "MadArt" will be held at Andheri Sports Complex Art gallery on July 8, 2015 from 10 am-6pm. The exhibition will be on view through July 15, 2015 and is free and open to the public. 

Speaking to Animation Galaxy, Madhura Raut says, "I am not trained artist but art is my hobby and I make paintings whenever I get free time. Art for me has never been about profession, for me it's about exploring my inner self and expressing them in my paintings. Why did I make paintings?  Well, I enjoyed it, of course ; but it was more like meditation for me and somehow helped me to remember who I am and what I wish to do in life."
