ShilpaRao and ShibaniKashyap to tempt fans at Mumbai Women’s International Film Festival (MWIFF)

ShibaniKashyap, the renowned playback singer of the Bollywood industry and ShiplaRao, a prominent playback singer will be seen rocking the stage of Mumbai Women’s International Film festival (MWIFF) 2013. Claimed to be one of the biggest women international film festival of India, the festival is all set to flatter the audience with many such power packed performances.
ShiplaRao, a newbie in the industry, she has churned out a stream of hit songs with films like ‘Dev.D’, ‘Gulaal’,’BachnaAeHaseeno’ to name a few will be seen recreating the magic of her voice from her career once again. While ShibaniKashyap one of the most promising singer,composer and performer of the tinselvillewho has sung for the movie ‘Satyagraha’ will be adding a charm to the event. Also AbhilashaChellam, “The Little Nightingale” who shot to fame with Zee TVSaregamapa will also be seen enthralling the audience.
Having some of the very fine artists from the industry to perform, Programming Head of MWIFF Mr.Chintan K. says, “I personally feel ecstatic imagining a live performance of ShibaniKashyap and ShilpaRao. Where we are trying to show a power packed house of women filmmakers, both these singers are a reflection of power packed performers with their amazing stage presence and commanding voice! Also, a young talent like Abhilasha inspires new talents to come forward and take the center stage!”
The festival is being organized by Oculus Creations with the support of Maharashtra Tourism development Corporation (MTDC) with the aim of giving women filmmakers a platform. The festival will held from 8th to 14th October 2013 in Mumbai.
