AMD Customer Group garners industry recognition at the 8th annual Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service
AMD won two prestigious business awards at the 8th annual Stevie® Awards for Sales & Customer Service, announced Feb. 21, 2014.
The AMD Customer Group was named the Gold Stevie winner for Sales Operations Team of the Year for its efficient, strategic, data-driven and aligned global channel operations. David Kenyon, corporate vice president, strategic account sales, received the Gold Stevie award for Worldwide Sales Executive of the Year (2013), for introducing a new business management system that overhauled, streamlined and drastically improved AMD’s global sales operations.
“As our world-class sales team has worked tirelessly on new and innovative ways to realize a new vision for sales operations, this level of recognition from an esteemed panel of sales and customer service experts is especially meaningful,” said John Byrne, senior vice president and chief sales officer, AMD. “To be judged alongside some of the world’s most respected sales organizations and win in both finalist categories is a true testament to the phenomenal talent we have at AMD.”
