PRO-FI - PROFESSIONAL LOW FIDELITY EFFECTS FOR FCPX - PIXEL FILM STUDIOS from Pixel Film Studios on Vimeo.

"ProFi was created to give users the ability to capture the look made by old fashioned cameras to make current footage look as it was created in the past," said Christina Austin CEO of Pixel Film Studios.

Re-create the popular Lo-Fi look of the 1980's toy cameras with ProFi from Pixel Film Studios™. With the ProFi presets for Final Cut Pro X, users can add the vignettes, blurs, colors, and grain that gave these low-cost cameras their iconic look.

The Lo-Fi look became popular in the 1980's with the release of low-budget, meniscus lens cameras that left heavy vignettes, color distortions, and blurs on the photos.

With the 35 customizable presets that come with ProFi, editors can re-create the look of these Lo-Fi lens with footage in Final Cut Pro X.

After choosing the Lo-Fi photo grade, users can easily add a film frame to the footage. Then use the size, roundness, and softness parameters in the FCPX Inspector to customize the looks of the frame.

Control the lens blur using the on-screen controls in the FCPX viewer. Simply grab control of one of the handles to adjust the position and size of the blur area. Then use the simple sliders found in the FCPX Inspector to adjust the strength and softness of the area.

ProFi was professionally designed to work seamlessly inside of Final Cut Pro X. As a FCPX effect, PRO-FI™ plugins can be dragged and dropped onto the footage and previewed in real time without rendering. With easy-to-use controls that can be found in the FCPX inspector, users can calibrate their lo-fi look in a few clicks of a mouse.
