The new Introduction to Maya 2015 tutorial highlights Digital-Tutors' continued dedication to being the leading resource on Maya training for artists, leading studios and top creative schools. The new introductory Maya tutorial takes a step-by-step, project-based approach to learning Maya's robust 3D animation tools and features. While building their own 3D robot mech, viewers learn about the Maya interface, modeling, texturing, rigging, animation, dynamics, lighting, rendering and more.
"Introduction to Maya 2015 is another special release for Digital-Tutors." said Piyush Patel, founder of Digital-Tutors and vice-president of creative operations for Pluralsight. " We are committed to providing the best tutors in their field and offering the most up-to-date training when new software is released. More Maya 2015 training is scheduled and due out for release in the coming weeks and adds to the 400-plus Maya tutorials currently available. New training for Autodesk 3ds Max 2015 and Mudbox 2015 are also due out.
The first training for Epic Games' Unreal Engine 4 is now available as game developers take to the major update. New features, interface, tools and pricing led to a high-demand for Unreal Engine 4 content. The new Introduction to Unreal Engine 4 tutorial includes over four hours and 30 lessons covering the Unreal editor, which experienced major changes from previous versions.
"This was a huge update for any game developer using previous UDK versions," commented Joshua Kinney, Lead Games Tutors. "Epic changed so much and lowered the price to make this a really valuable and powerful option for creating games."
As game engines compete for market share, game developers are deciding between options like Unreal Engine, Unity, CryENGINE and more to help make their games a reality. More Unreal Engine 4 tutorials are scheduled to help game developers go deeper into the possibilities of the game engine,
