Rajinikanth's Kochadaiiyaan to release on April 11

After months of delay, superstar Rajinikanth's Tamil period-drama Kochadaiiyaan is slated to release worldwide on 11 April, and its director Soundarya Rajinikanth Ashwin views the film as the next step in Indian cinema.
Kochadaiyaan features an ensemble cast of Sarathkumar, Aadhi, Deepika Padukone, Shobana, Rukmini Vijayakumar, Jackie Shroff and Nasser along with Rajinikanth. The cinematography of this film, which has been shot using motion capture technology in 3D, is handled by Rajiv Menon. Music is composed by AR Rahman. The film is produced jointly by Eros International and Media One Global Entertainment.
Kochadaiiyaan is jointly produced by Eros International Media Ltd and Mediaone Global Entertainment Ltd. It is releasing worldwide in cinemas April 11, 2014, added the statement.
