Mr. Peabody is taking a leap from the small screen to the silver screen in the upcoming animated film, Mr. Peabody & Sherman. Mr. Peabody, the most accomplished dog in the world, and his mischievous boy Sherman, use their time machine-the Wabac-to go on the most outrageous adventures known to man or dog.
Mr. Peabody & Sherman is an animated comedy adventure film based on the characters from the Peabody's Improbable History segments of the 1960s animated television series The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show. Produced by DreamWorks Animation and distributed by 20th Century Fox. Rob Minkoff is the director, and Alex Schwartz and Denise Nolan Cascino are the producers. Mr. Peabody & Sherman will feature the voices of Ty Burrell, Max Charles, Stephen Colbert, Leslie Mann, Ariel Winter, Allison Janney, and Stephen Tobolowsky. The film is scheduled to be released on February 7, 2014.
