MAAC launches its new centre in Chembur

Mumbai, July 31, 2013: Maya Academy of Advanced Cinematics (MAAC), India’s leading educator in high-end 3D Animation and Visual Effects officially announced the launch of its new centre in Chembur, Mumbai. This is the tenth center of MAAC in the city. The center is equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure to train students on the latest 3D Animation & Visual Effects technology.

The new center will offer Advanced Cinematics courses such as, Career course in 3D Animation (AD3D EDGE), Career course in Visual Effects (ADVFX), besides other short term courses in 3D Animation and Film Making (DAFM) and Game design and Integration (DGDI). The center launch was felicitated by Mr. Ram Warrier, Business Head & Mrs. Bhavika Chouhan, Sr. Vice President from MAAC.

Mr. Ram Warrier, Business Head, MAAC said, “India’s animation and gaming industry showcases immense potential and growth. It has rendered animation and VFX as one of the most coveted career options amongst the youth. To pace up with the increasing demand of talent in this domain, we strive to offer students comprehensive education in the growing field of 3D Animation and VFX at MAAC. Speaking at the launch of the new center Mr. Kuldip Singh, Director, MAAC Chembur said, “We are proud to announce the inauguration of our new MAAC center in Chembur. Animation is one of the most sought after career amongst the youth, especially, since India has now become an outsourcing hub for international projects. The requirement for trained manpower has increased manifold. I am sure that our new center would empower students to encompass the strategic areas of this industry, and be a specialist in the world of 3D Animation and VFX.”
