300: Rise of an Empire" continues the story that Snyder started in his 2006, this time under the direction of Noam Murro, the film will star Eva Green, Rodrigo Santoro, Lena Headey and Sullivan Stapleton.
Based on the Frank Miller graphic novel, Xerxes, the plot will expand on the Battle of Thermopylae from 300 and explore the Rodrigo Santoro's character as he evolves from King to God.The Spartans are dead including Queen Gorgo's husband King Leonidas, so she seeks revenge and inspires the troops for revenge & the battle is taken to the sea for an epic saga told in the same visual style as Zack Snyder's 300 starring Gerard Butler.
300: Rise of an Empire is due to be released in March 2014.
