2nd Edition of Mumbai Film and Comics Convention, to be held at Bombay Exhibition Centre, Goregaon, Mumbai from December 21-22’ 2013 (Saturday & Sunday). Comic Con India established in 2011 is country’s only platform which gives boost to the comics and related industries in India.
Highlights
Costume Play:
Kids and Adults can come dressed as their favorite comic, movie or gaming character Each day, one winner will be chosen from each of five categories:
1. Comic book/Graphic novel
2.Animated Series/Movie
3. Manga/Anime
4. Sci-Fi/Fantasy
5. Gaming
Both days, One lucky winner out of the chosen 5 will get the awesome chance to WIN a GOLDEN TICKET to SINGAPORE TOY, GAME AND COMIC CONVENTION 2014!!
The convention includes a book fair featuring the biggest comics/graphic publishers in India and Abroad :

Special Sessions and Panels:
Special Screening of the Burka Avenger followed by a google hangout q&a with its creator.
(Burka Avenger is a Pakistani animated television series. It features a superheroine who wears a burqa to hide her identity while fighting bad guys.)
Special session with Nickelodeon
A session on the brief overview of Daisuki’ operations, as one of the leading Anime Portals followed by the trailers of some of their best anime movies.

Special Session with Tere Bin Laden Sequel Cast (Manish Paul & Pradyuman Singh) and Abhishek Sharma (Director)

Scholastic presents a special session with Illustrator/Filmmaker Shilpa Ranade. She will talk on the process of translating a book into an Animated Movie. She will also discuss about her recent experience on taking Goopi Gawaiyan to Toronto film festival.
