Nickelodeon Launches SpongeBob Film Contest

Nickelodeon announced the first-ever global SpongeBob SquarePants-inspired short film competition, SpongeBob SquareShorts: Original Fan Tributes.
SpongeBob fans and filmmakers from around the world are invited to create and submit original short films about any and all things SpongeBob & chance to win a cash prize and trip to a screening event in Hollywood, Calif.
Entries can be submitted in two categories—under 18 years of age, and 18 and over—to www.SpongeBobSquareShorts.com. The deadline for submission is on June 28.
A panel of judges will select 10 finalists for each category. The finalists will be announced on July 18.
